I'm using Lyx 1.6.4, and I'm having trouble specifying the bullets properly. When I'm generating .pdf files, my bullets are always dashes, no matter what I do to specify the bullets in the preferences menu.

See you this thread:

Yes. French is my document language. I'll have a look at this thread.

I've had a look at this thread, and more specifically at

        http://daniel.flipo.free.fr/frenchb/frenchb2-doc.pdf

I've been trying to add a \frenchbsetup to the preamble, but it doesn't seem to be a recognised command. I've had a look at french.ldf, and it seems that on Debian, it's the frenchpro package that's used in place of frenchb. So I'm a bit confused.

I'm not really familiar with TeX output from LyX. The beginning of the .tex file follows. I'm wondering what should be done in the .tex file to be able to access the \frenchbsetup command.

\documentclass[french]{article}
\usepackage{berasans}
\usepackage[T1]{fontenc}
\usepackage[utf8x]{inputenc}
\usepackage[a4paper]{geometry}
\geometry{verbose,tmargin=2cm,bmargin=1cm,lmargin=1cm,rmargin=1cm,headheight=0cm,headsep=0cm,footskip=0cm}
\pagestyle{empty}
\setlength{\parskip}{\medskipamount}
\setlength{\parindent}{0pt}
\usepackage{color}
\usepackage{babel}
\addto\extrasfrench{\providecommand{\og}{\leavevmode\flqq~}\providecommand{\fg}{\ifdim\lastskip>\...@\unskip\fi~\frqq}}

\usepackage{array}
\usepackage{booktabs}
\usepackage{graphicx}
\usepackage{setspace}
\usepackage[unicode=true, bookmarks=false,
 breaklinks=false,pdfborder={0 0
0},backref=false,colorlinks=true,pdfpagemode=FullScreen]
 {hyperref}
\hypersetup{pdftitle={YZIQUEL Guillaume},
 pdfauthor={Guillaume Yziquel}}

All the best,
