So, let me reforumulate my suggestion with this in mind: it would be nice if the "Latex errors" message box that appears contained a line reading "... for more information, see Document>LaTeX log".Could you file a bug (enhancement) report at http://www.lyx.org/trac/wiki/BugTrackerHome ? Günter
