Yes, that's it! Thank you so much. http://code.google.com/p/lytex/ with 1.6.3 version of LyX is the first portable LyX I tried, that'r running without any problems (till now :-)).
The others http://sourceforge.net/projects/lyxportable/ and http://wiki.lyx.org/Windows/PortableInstallation did not work at all or not correct. The project site of http://code.google.com/p/lytex/ is very thin, last changes from Jul 30, 2009. I hope, that they will continue the project. > There is such a project on google code, lytex: > http://code.google.com/p/lytex/ > It has a 1.6.3 version of LyX. > Also, a new one seems to be developed on sourceforge: > http://sourceforge.net/projects/lyxportable/ > but it does not look like ready (not in executable format yet). > And to answer you last set of questions, have a look at those > instructions on LyX Wiki: > http://wiki.lyx.org/Windows/PortableInstallation -- Mit freundlichen Grüßen Matthias Schmidt mailto:gm_schm...@yahoo.de Diese Nachricht ist mit Norton Internet Security geprüft
