A suggestion Graham: try to produce vectorial graphics with R (and not screen-shots); this will reduce the size of your graphics and improve dramatically their quality.
Mmmm, yes :-)
Except, I am only using screen grabs when I need to illustrate what the screen looks like. Looking at my original post I should probably have had a comma after "screen grabs".
All the charts and graphs are exported from R as PDFs. Graham
