Aaaarg, the gnome clipboard manager does that. Thanks! Around the same time I started to work with lyx I also switched from "klipper" to "glipper" and didn't notice it pays bad games with me. Didn't find an option to disable that feature yet, so switched back to klipper for now, which does't cause this trouble. Thanks a lot, Bernd
