I'm writing a book with LyX using the Memoir class and I'd like to rotate a table. I can select the table float properties and set it to be a sideways table, but then I get the following errors. I've tried to shorten the LaTeX output to just the relevant parts, but let me know if I've left out something important. To get the output below, I created a blank document, set its class to Memoir, and inserted a table float with table and rotated it (sidewaystable).

I did also find this page: http://www.tex.ac.uk/cgi-bin/texfaq2html?label=alreadydef about commands that have duplicate definitions, but I'm afraid I'm not enough of a latex master to figure out what to do with that information.

I'm not allergic to Evil Red Text, but I've been googling and trying things out for a few hours and now I find myself stuck. Any help with this is greatly appreciated!

Regards,

-George
