Hi everyone, I would like to know if there is a solution to install lyx 1.64 or even higher version under ubuntu 8.04. By default, lyx 1.5.3 is installed in ubuntu 8.04, to be honest, I began with lyx1.6.4, so now all of my old lyx documents could not be opened. In addition, in the new version of lyx after 1.64 they really added more useful features, easy to use. So if any suggestion will be appreciated.
