Makes sense, but my ~/ui directory is hopelessly empty (hence my settings vanishing?) I had a look at the /usr/share/lyx/ui, but it looks like there are only the default settings in there. > > The user dir can be found in Help->About LyX. > > Vincent > -- Daniel CLEMENT
