When I put cross-references to sections inside the cells or caption of
a floating table, I get error messages like the following:
Missing $ inserted.
Details and references & \protect \T
1\textsection \ref{sub:FWER-control...
...t \T1\textsection \ref{sub:FWER-control} &
\protect \T1\textsection ...
Extra }, or forgotten $.
I've deleted a group-closing symbol because it seems to be
spurious, as in `$x}$'. But perhaps the } is legitimate and
you forgot something else, as in `\hbox{$x}'. In such cases
the way to recover is to insert both the forgotten and the
deleted material, e.g., by typing `I$}'.
Any workaround or other help would be appreciated.
