Hi I just tried some more small things:
You do not need to change the language to anything other than away from default. Removing the \gui_language from the .lyx/preferences makes it seg.fault on save as: # # 2nd MISC SUPPORT SECTION ########################## # \gui_language nynorsk also changing the language the first time seems to give the following error sometimes: "Application asked to unregister timer 0x36000004 which is not registered in this thread. Fix application." If this is related I do not know, I tried to find out when it is triggered, but were not able to find an absoulte pattern... Ingar
