I think I heard people saying that LaTeX cannot handle spaces in paths
on Windows. Have you tried putting your LyX document into C:\tmp\ (or
similar) and compile it with LyX? If it still doesn't work, I suggest
that you save Document > LaTeX log into a file and paste it here.
