Hi all!

How do I locate broken references in a LyX document? I'm talking about bibtex references to other articles, not cross-references to labelled items within the document.

I have a master document containing several child documents. The master document contains the bibliography and almost everything works fine. The document class is "book" in all documents. The child documents contain individual chapters.

When I compile I get a few warnings in the latex log about undefined references. These warnings are accompanied by latex source code line numbers, but that doesn't help me to locate the error within LyX.

Most citations work fine, but there are a few that cause problems because I have changed the bibtex file after I wrote the LyX document.

E.g. somewhere in my document I have an old reference to a paper with a bibtex label "whitney1957", but it is supposed to be "whitney57". How do I locate the position within the LyX document where I have tried to cite the incorrect "whitney1957"?

Thanks!

Best regards
