I need to produce some symbols with a subscript inside the text. Is there any way to do this without inserting expressions into the text? In principle, the expressions give what I need, but for some reason the font style is then changed automatically into italics, and they remain like this even if I try to change fonts in the expression. I do not want to have this. I need symbols and subscripts in ordinary fonts, not italics. Leslaw
