Hello!

On a regular basis, I find myself doing a large number of small
corrections, and recompiling again and again, particularily when final
changes to layouts are being made or when I try hunting down some
compilation error, where the latex log is little help. Even when
reducing the document to the minimal number of "\include"-files
needed, the series of several pdflatex runs and bibtex run is rather
slow and causes workflow-slowing waiting time ever so often.

For such scenarios, some latex editors have a "quick preview" feature
where latex/pdflatex is run only once, giving less accurate results
with regard to references, table of contents etc, but allowing to
quickly preview small changes.

Is there something like this or a possibility to interrupt a running
compilation in LyX, so that I can restart it?

I am using Lyx 2.0.4.

king regards, yu
