Sorry for my late reply - Yes, I looked at the Gnumeric inset, but it does not 
provide any
functions for formating the table.

But after digging around I found out that I have to do the formating in 
gnumeric.

By the way: I found the wiki page you refer to, but the Gnumeric, Openoffice 
and Excel links are
all broken.
