You can use the daily Ubuntu PPA. See here for instructions: http://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/LyXOnUbuntu#toc3 Those instructions were just added so if you have any suggestions for making things more clear, please edit directly or post back here. The process is very straightforward. Scott
