Thanks, Jürgen, I am inserting the refs via Jabrefs pushref > LyX and don't know how I have to put the citations into one citation inset. I misunderstood you, thinking, that you meant the citations have to be in one bib file. I have more than 700 citations in my document and many of them with several references.
