Does Chordii have support for "chordii in LaTeX" similar to "lilypond
book"?

If yes, you could model the Chordii-module on lilypond.

This depends: Teh external inset is very versatile and could also be used if
Chordii does not come with an in-LaTeX tool to create a PDF or EPS inset
from the Chordii source.
