I'm having the same issue - it is caused by lack of "grouping" for that particular slide. It seems the frame environment need to encompass the contents of the frame (you will see vertical grouping line on the left side), otherwise the contents go to the next slide.
The problem is, when I make a new frame, I don't get that grouping - I have been reusing (copy & paste) previous frames with the grouping.
