Hi, I have freshly installed LyX (V 2.0.3, Ubuntu 13.04) and am working through the Tutorial. I create a new document with a few words in it. When I save it and attempt to view it I get the message "Emergency stop. File ended while scanning use of \kvsetkeys. <*> newfile1.tex *** (job aborted, no legal \end found)"
However, I have no problems opening, editing and viewing any of the example documents that came with the installation. Completely removing and re-installing the package does not help. I presume that some preamble text that is created with the new document is mal-formed, but I don't know what it is or why it shuld be like that for a feeshly installed LyX. Any suggestions?
