Hello: When editing documents, occasionally it would be very useful to have
vertical and horizontal rulers at the edges of the document. The best would be if the pdf viewer had rulers; I don't know any pdf viewer with such feature. A workaround could be to insert rulers using latex code. These rulers should not modify the positions or placement of other elements in the pdf output. In the final document the code specifying the rulers could be removed, and the document would look the same as during editing but without the rulers. Is this possible? How?
