I started with a 4k model I but kept adding to it until I had a fully tricked-out unit: 16k in keyboard, another 48k in expansion box plus serial card, and four floppy disks. Bought a model 100 as well and really enjoyed it. I do like the keyboard layout of the model 102 and although thats a really small difference between it and the 100, it's enough to edge it to the front of the list.
Ken, i had a similar experience to yours in that the radio shack manager let me play with their model III every chance I could. I learned to swear really well in those days. You learn some really good swearwords when you get into programming :-) Cheers, Bert On Apr 11, 2015, at 12:38, Ken Pettit <[email protected]> wrote: > I learned on the Model I, but I think the Model III was my favorite, other > than the M100.
