>From a Portable 100 mag it looks like there were Disk+ "disk services" for Apple II , CP/M, TRS-80 desktops, IBM and clones, etc.
Looks like the Model 4 service was in Ira's archive http://www.retrocomputing.net/parts/r/radio/TRS80_4/docs/on2006.htm The equivalent of the TS-DOS + Desklink (or today,TS-DOS + LaddieAlpha.exe or mcomm) combinations. Disk+ looks like an also-ran compared to TS-DOS and Desklink. I'm guessing it's not compatible with the TPDD and no one ever bothered emulating it. So unless you want to use a CP/M machine for file storage, and can find the disk service software, it's probably not going to work. Heck without some service you would be hard pressed to reverse engineer it without a complete decompile. To what end? Save your pennies and get a REX w/ TS-DOS, and use it with a disk service that's supported today.. -- John.
