Or, just make a new work-alike mainboard that integrates a faster CPU. Either that 10Mhz 8085 or another low power CPU fast enough to emulate it easily. But no one will do it because the idea of leaving the old lo res M100 display in place gives engineers the sads. Any reasonable replacement display would be a custom build, and we would have to get funding. Not to mention all the other rabbit holes like wifi, bluetooth, usb, Linux, ... -- John.
