[M100] BlueM S~ commands and Mapping M10x keyboard

I'm trying to get my BlueM configured to talk to my android device again.
One of the commands listed for the RN42 is the "S~" command...
As my M100 has no ~ key, how do I send this in hterm?
For that matter, is it possible to map keys that aren't on the M100 
keyboard to key combinations? like "{" to "ctrl-[" or "grph-["?
