Are you sure it is a .DOC-file, maybe it's a .DO-file ? If it is, jump to [*]
In case it's a .DOC-file:
- in Word: CTRL-A, CTRL-C
- open Notepad
- in Notepad: CTRL-V
- Format, unselect 'Word Wrap'
- edit headers, footers and/or any text that doesn't start with a number (watch
out for line wrap)
- save as 'trek.txt'
- [*] transfer the file to the M100, save as 'trek.do'
- start BASIC
- LOAD "TREK.DO
- LIST and/or EDIT the program, looking for anomalies (compare with .DOC text)
- RUN the program
- if all is well, SAVE"TREK.BA
Alternative:
- search the www.club100.org website for the original.
Alternative: (masochism)
- print the DOC
- re-type into the M100

Cut and past the file into a text file and save as a ".do" file for
transfer to your model 100. Once it is loaded you can change the file to
a ".ba" file by renaming it.
