Can't explain why what you did below did not work except that somehow REX did not reset to default ROM. Power cycle should do that. Unless somehow you overwrote rexmgr with intsol in the default block. Maybe that happened? Haven't seen that before though. If you can't make progress, try reloading release 4.9.
