I had a similar problem with INTSOL, but I foun d that by turning off the
backup memory for a few seconds I was able to reload REXMGR without difficulty
after restart. Interactive Solutions office ROM is very usable, but as long as
the computer is not shut off while it is loaded, there is not a problem. I just
use CTRL-O to switch back to another ROM before shutting down. I am using Super
ROM most of the time now anyway. It is superior to INTSOL.

Subject: Re: [M100] Problem with OptRom & REX on M102

Keith,
That doesn't quite ring true with me so I will try it. You should not have to
reflash rex.
Everything you say sounds plausible until that last point- needing to reflash
to recover.
Otherwise I can see conflicts potentially with file names and directory
entries. That can happen. But not overwriting the base image in Rex.

Power cycling after a cold boot should guarantee your abiity to 'call 63012'
and reinstall Rex manager.
