Like a modern VDI? I thought about this earlier today... that would be pretty neat, though I'd want it to handle graphics as well as text. One of the very first things I did with the Model T when I received it last week was write a simple program to graph the potential progress of my student loan debt based on how much I choose to pay. This was useful to me because student loans have an annual interest that accrues daily rather than quarterly or yearly.

I wonder if this could be repurposed (with some ancillary hardware and ROM tweaks) to give the Model 100/200/102 an external VGA display for very little money: http://www.hobbytronics.co.uk/serial-vga It accepts serial data and drives a text based VGA display at 800x600 resolution. Additionally, it understands escape sequences to manage simple text windows, etc. It's pretty cool, and it got my wheels turning.
