Even if Model 100 does not work with the latest technology, no big deal for me. It's the other way around.
With Model 100 I'm looking for a distration free environment: no internet, no email. That does not come as a standard feature any more. Along the same lines, once in a while, I remove the nano-SIM card from my iPhone and plug it in to a Nokia 3310 (with a home-made adapter of sort). Once again, no internet, no email when on the move. Doing a "retro week" like this is very eye opening. It amazing how many things depend on instant internet access these days. How much time one spends one the 'net. And how scary it is to be without the 'net, if something bad happens.
