John, All,

this originated on the the old M100 mailing list, one that is now in disarray,
since the moderator/originator of it has disappeared. (Merchberger, aka
'Merch') It somehow spilled over to the bitchin.100 list.

But it is a surprise to me that you received my mail at all, since I send it
ONLY to [email protected] I just checked. And how '(Russel Flowers)' came
to be added to your subject line? Did you edit the text and remove Russel's
contribution?

I can only guess that the address of this bitchin.100 list is incorporated in
the 30below.com list, so that anything posted there, is also send to the
bitchin.100 list. Now, _IF_ that is the case, John R.H. could remove the
30below.com mail address from the bitchin.100 list, or block any address coming
from there. If not, there's no much more he can do, I'm afraid.

What I did notice though, just now, that Russel Flowers replied using both the
30below.com as the bitchin.100 address. If we want to stop using the
30below-list, we should also stop posting to it. Anyway, John RH can check the
'history' behind this chain of events.

That said, it is hard to be 100% spam-free, even in moderated/controlled
mailing lists. There is always the possibility that someone's e-mail address is
hijacked and abused. So it's no use reacting to it on the list. Better send a
private e-mail to the moderator.

For those that thought I was going away from the bitchin.100 list: no, I don't
and I won't. But it's nice to know that I am appreciated. ;-)

I would like the m100 moderator to stop sending JUNK or SPAM that is not
related to M100. I joined M100 list. But I did not expect to get this send to
my email address.
