I think I found the answer to my question on the barrel connector : "5.5 mm O.D. x 2.1 mm I.D., or size M coaxial (barrel type) DC power"
I found USB->Barrel connector that have these specs except that they are positive center power pin instead of negative. So either I have to modify the cable slightly or keep looking. -- John.
