Yeah,  it's not really "stealing power" from anywhere from flow control
exactly. Basically when the signal from the TPDD is 5V it'll pass through,
and when it's 0V it appears as an open connection.

You're welcome to publish it if it works. Now, question is, what should I
expect to happen with the drive when I issue the command from the computer
to start the install process without a proper utility disk? I presume it
would at least start the motor and I'd get activity light...
