Well LaddieAlpha is lightweight, less than 64k at some point. Not fair counting the OS and libraries :-) I was going for something completely cross platform. All platforms have a mono runtime available and it is an active open source project. Mono even runs great on a raspberry pi or better pi 2 without issues. There's also DLPlus which is written in C. That's available at bitchin100.com. If you want to go fully embedded that could be a better choice. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that Laddiealpha does though. The link to Laddiealpha is to the git source repository. Git is a free source control tool. The advantage of git is that it is easy to see the development history and easy to create experimental branches and send patches if you want it included in the main repository. -- John.
