Since Bluetooth requires a custom version of TS-DOS anyway it would be
interesting to create protocol extensions that would allow larger packet
sizes. That would mean less handshake overhead per packet.

Other than that I don't know how the "timeout" issue is being overcome.

Basically I'm saying there is no good reason for bluetooth to be slow.
