[M100] 8201 Telcom Flow Control

I was looking at the STAT command in TELCOM on the NEC 8201. 98N1??. 
The 5th and 6th characters are for flow control. The 6th being XON/XOFF N=Off 
X=On. Is the 5th for RTS/CTS? The manual states SI/SO but I'm not familiar with 
that.
