Hm, today while testing the FigTroniX option rom module finally, I
discovered that the screen on this unit works perfectly now.

It does not flicker randomly light and dark like it used to before I hit
the pot with deoxit, and it is full normal darkness. Which is to say, it
goes the same range from too light to too dark as my other 2 units, and
it's smooth and stable.

So I guess the DeexIT D5 just takes many days, over a week, to completely
dry out of the inside of the pot. But the end result is it worked. The
screen, and the contrast control, is great now.
