I have owned a couple of chipmunk drives in the past. as I recall there is no
such thing as a system disk for it. it's unlike the Tandy DVI and the TPDD 1
and 2. I'm at work right now but I have to check my files later. things to
take note of:

the pins are the first weak link as far as operation (let's not get into the
m102 problem with it's protected bus)

the other weak link is the battery pack. they really need to be changed out,
use ni-mh AAs instead as they now have enough amps available.

in order to power the device you need a either an adapter that delivers 1.2amps
or more OR a lower grade power supply in tandem with CHARGED batteries. the
chipmunk needs a lot of current.

No worries mate. I have actually visited the Facebook page once or twice when
I logged into Facebook (which isn't that often ... maybe once / month). I'm
not a big social media user.

I don't have the answer, just having a little friendly fun. I guess it wasn't
well received or perhaps simply not perceived as having fun.

I said I was asking for someone else, not that they asked me to ask, or even
know that I did. It came up as a tangent from a thread about the tpdd-2
boot/ipl process.

If you tend to answer, then where is this answer?

What part of my question makes any difference who asks it?

*maybe* all I wanted to do is check that yes/no answer, since I'm already
conveniently subscribed, and then make exactly that suggestion if the answer
had been yes.

Maybe post something to the Facebook group that they should join the mailing
list and ask questions. We tend to answer them.
