There are a couple rough edges (hey it's brand new). 1 - It doesn't know how to handle the IPL. If you turn the drive on after tpddtool is connected, the drive sends the initial program loader (3 lines of basic), and then the power light starts blinking and nothing works. This problem doesn't exist with any of the actual dosses on the m100, I don't know if LapTap or LapDos or any other tpdd clients do any better. 2 - Another little thing is is doesn't detect write failure from a write-protected disk. The drive runs and TpddTool says write successful, but the write was not actually successful. I don't know if the protocol even provides that feedback or if any other tpdd client does any better. Out of interest how are you guys connecting the drive to the PC? I'm guessing I need a 9pin female to 25 pin female adapter between my USB serial adapter and floppy cable. Also what is possible at the moment? Can for instance copy files off the TPDD to my computer?
