OK next question... Anyone know if there is a way to erase just one bank? While going through the motions installing teeny and 0menu on all 8 banks, some kind of small corruption happened to bank 1 and bank 2. In bank 1, the bank indicator in the top right corner says "$1" instead of "#1" In bank 2, the telcom menu entry has a -| graphic character where the . would be on a normal file.
Otherwise things seem to work. I can switch between all banks. Oh the glitches might have happened when I tried to use file copy function to copy teeny.co from bank 1 to bank 2, when bank 2 did not yet have 0menu installed. The machine locked up and the display went screwy and had to be rebooted a couple times. I guess in the special case of bank 1, I can just cut the memory power as usual and that should wipe bank 1 without touching any of the extra banks, as the expansion board has it's own battery. -- bkw
