Have you tried snooping with a PC as "man in the middle" using two serial ports?
That's generally how I snoop. As long as its fast enough it shouldn't interfere with communication. Most rs232 software sniffer packages support this setup. I'd guess DockLight would too, but I don't know. I use a Linux utility called snooper. -- John.
