Thanks, Kurt - great options.  I think the Android approach with mComm might be 
ideal.  Ironically, my older Android tablet might be too old to use it, but my 
6 year old’s tablet might be fine.  He’d probably find it intriguing that I 
could use his tablet to do something with my vintage computers.  He’s used to 
seeing me fiddling around with them in any case.  I might still explore some of 
the WiFi shields originally intended for Arduino and other microcontrollers, 
since they seem to be capable little units that have come down in size and 
price incredibly much and they handle Hayes AT command sets and a variety of 
communication terms.  The Lantronix WiBox seems like a nice option also but 
would need to be plugged in.  It would totally get someone’s attention at that 
coffee shop, though…  :)  I agree, it would be great fun to send e-mails from 
the Model 100 in mobile fashion.

John - thanks, I’m eager to experiment with Raspberry Pi sometime.  Haven’t 
done that yet.
