I don't suppose I could convince you to see if you have a service manual for 600, or a BASIC rom for 600? And if so, let me copy them and upload them?
600 is half useless without the basic rom, and most of them don't have it because they have the multiplan rom instead. But the option rom module for 100 fits in 600. If the pinout is not also the same, it can be adjusted trivially. So if we just had a rom image, anyone could have a basic rom. All 11 model 600 owners in the world. And Jayeson Lee-Steere who's making a new ram module would like a service manual or tech reference if possible. Well it would be good for everyone obviously besides that. I have the utility disk that I'm going to try to copy once my own 600 works better. My floppy drive doesn't work. I just got a 1400LT as an alternate way to copy a 600 formated disk but it's kind of rough looking and I haven't tried to fire that up yet. I have an external 3.5" drive coming that might work too on the external floppy port. Or the drive might even be the right kind to actually go right inside. -- bkw On Jan 6, 2017 6:37 PM, "John R.
