"I have to say, even having a fully working unit, WITH basic installed, this thing is terrible. 9 1/2 lbs and almost useless, even compared to other machines of the day. Everything is incredibly slow for a machine with an 8088 in it. "
That pretty much sums up my feelings toward it. Way too heavy, slow, etc. For fun, I tried reading some MS-DOS disks once... if I recall, at first it made you thought it was compatible (maybe even pull a DIR listing?) but then you couldn't actually read the files, or something like that. I did enjoy writing a few programs on it. But they weren't fast.
