Most of the documentation is written by me precisely for that reason... if you want something done you often have to do it yourself. For a while it was open for self registration. When it started getting hit by spammers I researched it and captcha seemed to be the usual way to go. If there's some intermediate mechanism I never found it. I see in a Google search there is a "ConfirmAccount" extension, is that what you're talking about? -- John.
