I hardly ever see any with the disk. I paid $50 for one in good clean
shape, with it's original box, and the special serial cable, but no manual
and no disk, and the box was a bit roughed up from handling.

This still leaves the matter of the belt inside though. It IS goo inside
there. By now it's not a maybe, it just is. A new belt is readily available
from various on-line sellers for under $10 usd. And it's not TOO hard to
install. Google or ebay search "FRW-8.5 belt" for the belt. You want to
have some alcohol and qtips to clean up the tar that the old belt has
turned into.

If you go on ebay and search for Tandy Portable Disk Drive, and then go to
filter andnenable sold items, you see that a few different units complete
with box and disk, have gone for between $50 and $65.
