I had the same general thing happen to my 100 several years back and it ended
up being a faulty LCD. I was able to get a replacement from Rick Hanson @ Club
100 (RIP Rick). Might still be some spares floating around somewhere. I don't
recall how much I paid but it wasn't much and I was able to do the swap myself,
although Rick offered to let me call and he'd walk me through it if I needed
help. He was a great guy, just from my limited interactions with him.
Best of luck with it, Roger

Subject: [M100] No video on M100
I just tried using my TRS-80 model 100 after about 6 months of sitting
around. However, when I turn it on I don't get any video. I know the
computer works because I can still run the "beep" command in BASIC. Do
you guys have any advice on what to do to get this thing back working?
I'm pretty good with a soldering iron so I can replace capacitors and
stuff if that might be the problem.
Also, if I get it working this machine is currently outfitted with 24k
of RAM. Any ideas on what RAM to order to bump it up to 32k?
Thanks,
Nathan
