I've not done a restore project like this in a while. I got the top refinished and used the lazy afternoon to retr0bright it and then finished it up with a very light coat of Armor All. That seems to do a good job with other items to avoid fading. (but keeping it in my "sleeve" is also a good habit)
I was watching "8-bit Guy" episodes on YouTube and followed his steps and the outside matches the inside of the top cover. Now I just need to tackle my CCR-81 and CCR-83 tape drives. Anyone know what number replacement belts I should get? I also have on order one of the WIFI232 interfaces to see if I can telnet BBS with it along with dial-up modem. Phone coupler works, but, is there a way to lower the volume on the internal modem? Thanks all!!!
