Hello,
I've been listening to this group for some time as I have got last year a NEC
8201A. The marking on the male connector on my memory cartridge is P048 7A,
and, according to some pictures from the Web, it is J048 7A on the system bus
female connector on the NEC motherboard. These two references point to the
Fujitsu FCN-360 series of connectors, here with 48 contacts:

Objet: [M100] NEC 8201 Connector

Does anyone know what kind of connector the NEC system bus uses? I have a
SideCar adapter that adds 96k of Ram but I don't really like the way it sticks
out of the side. Given that today a single 32k sram chip is easy to come by and
much smaller, I was toying with the idea of adding an internal 3rd bank of ram.
But the connector has me stumped. I've never seen one like it.
Kurt
