This is a concept drawing that I made for a NADSbox-inspired drive emulator,
which I coined "MicroTPDD":

It would be powered by a single AA cell (not sure about battery life). I
normally prefer full-sized SD cards over MicroSD ones, but this is the sort of
thing that's naturally smaller enough to justify the risk of accidentally
inhaling the storage device.

Rear panel stuff, from left to right:

1) Micro USB connector
2) 3-position mode/power switch
3) MicroSD socket
4) red/green status LED
4) Firmware update button

The three modes would be:

1) USB to serial interface; battery power off
2) DOS bootstrap; battery power on
3) TPDD emulation; battery power on

Now, this idea has been rattling around in my head for a while, and I don't
know if I'll ever actually get around to the non-trivial task of implementing
it. My gumption is limited somewhat since I already have a nice NADSbox to use
with my own Model T machines. Another NADSbox production run would be likely to
reduce my gumption still further, while lack of a new NADSbox production run
coupled with enough people saying "shut up and take my money" might just
increase my gumption. :)
